Formatted Version of C++ Code

This page contains some Badly Formatted C++ code, and its C++ Formatted Version, formatted by SD's C++ formatter, a member of SD's family of source language formatters.

Badly Formatted C++ Code

This code is derived from a public-domain AVL template module. To be fair to the author, the original source code was neatly formatted. We have manually abused the source code, preserving its function but ruining indentation, spacing and line breaks, to simulate extreme repeated hacking on this code. The result is a maintenance programmer's nightmare. Most programmers would have to reformat this by hand before attempting anything else. There goes half an hour or more of productivity. Note: the example is rather long.
