Product/OS Compatibility
- Windows: Compatible with Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP and Windows Server Versions.
- Linux 80x86: SD products work with full file access on most Linux versions with Wine present. (Confirmed on Redhat, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, Mac OSX, CentOS, Suse, etc.).
- Java: Our product GUIs require the Java runtime for Windows or Linux.
- Development Kits: Our TestCoverage, Execution Profiling, and CheckPointer Tools require the related third party Language Compilers. Runable SD tool Example scripts are typically included to help prove and demostrate SD tool function in these development environments.
Most Newer SD products are supported on Linux as described in installed documentation.
Wine transparently enables the SD proprietary PARLANSE runtime system on Linux.
Note that on Windows 8 and 10, and Linux versions with new tiling interfaces it may be somewhat difficult to find our installed documentation and executables for helpful information click here.
Product Evaluation Downloads
Many of our Commercial Off-The-Shelf Tools (COTs) are available as free evaluation downloads. These evaluation downloads have full capability, but run with capacity limits until registered with a registration code provided with an actual purchase of a license. You can evaluate the product by download, then purchase a license, and then register the product. There is no need to download again or reinstall.

When purchasing products by contacting sales you will need to provide this information:
- 1. The email address to where we will send registration information.
- 2. Your purchase order number (optional).
- 3. Your method of payment information, credit card information (card number, name, address, and phone) unless preapproved for another payment type such as NET terms.
- 4. The Tool name (e.g. Obfuscator, Formatter-PrettyPrinter, TestCoverage, TimingProfiler, ...).
- 5. The Language (e.g. Cpp, Java, CSharp, PHP).
- 6. The Language version (e.g. VisualStudio2010, GCC4, v7, v5, PHP5). Note: The Tool name, Language, and Language version is in the downloaded tool executable name.
- 7. Specify the Operating System and OS version you intend to run the tool on.
- 8. If you intend to Purchase the Software Assurance option.9. The amount you expect to pay including sales tax if you are in Texas.
Sales will verify your required product configuration is available and only after that will we send your license-registration information and charge your credit card.

The DMS Software Reengineering Toolkit
Design Maintenance System® is licensed per development seat. Costs vary with language modules chosen. There is an annual maintenance fee. Volume discounts available even for a small number of seats. Royalty licensing with significant discounts can enable a DMS-based tool to be redistributed. Large discount for non-commercial research groups such as Universities. Purchase order required. Software Migration, Modernization or Reengineering
Custom services using highly automated tools, dependent on your circumstances and needs, due to the wide variation in languages, platforms and 3rd party packages usually involved. Call for a discussion of the issues and possible approaches.
Clone Detection Analysis
Identify duplicate code in a software system. Pricing based on the number of source lines of code (SLOC) analyzed (minimum charges apply). Specify languages to be analyzed and approximate total SLOC when inquiring about the service. - Enterprise licensing also available.
Transformation Systems Tutorial
A full-day course on the basic technology behind transformation systems, and how they can be usefully applied to large-scale software analysis and reengineering tasks. Minimum class size of 5.
DMS Training
A two week class, half lecture, half exercises, at your site or ours. 10 students per class, maximum.
Short-term Consulting and Services
Time/material/travel consulting by senior staff for very short projects (software project assessments and planning, tough technology implementation, custom tool configuration) can be done at our site or yours.
Long-term Software Engineering Contracts
